How to Use a Lumbar Roll

At Apex Orthopedic Rehabilitation we provide a McKenzie mechanical examination for patients who suffer from low back pain, herniated or bulging disks, sciatica, leg and arm pain, weakness, and “numbness” for the spine and extremities. A pillar of treating an orthopedic and sports condition is understanding what delays or halts the healing process. Poor posture in sitting and standing can contribute to problems in recovering from any of  these conditions.   The maintenance of proper spinal alignment by the use of a lumbar roll is key to helping the body heal.
